There is a light that never goes out...

Thanks Bunnyman!

There is a light that never goes out - The Smiths

Take me out tonight
Where there's music and there's people
who are young and alive,
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one, anymore

Take me out tonight
Because I want to see people and I want to see light,
Driving in your car
Oh please don't drop me home
Because It's not my home, It's their home
And I'm welcome no more

And if a double-decker bus crashes into us
To die by your side, is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-tonne truck kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well the pleasure, the privilege is mine

Take me out tonight
Oh take me anywhere, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care
And in the darkened underpass I thought oh God,
my chance has come at last
But then a strange fear gripped me and I just couldn't ask
Take me out tonight
Take anywhere, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care
Just driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one, Oh Lord
No I haven't got one.

There is a light that never goes out...

Veja aqui

a 10000 miles from myself...

Hoodoo Gurus... a terceira banda mais famosa (!) da Austrália depois do Midnight Oil e do Men at Work.

10000 miles away by Hoodoo Gurus

Estimated time of arrival 9.30 a.m.
Been up before the sun and now I'm tired before I even begin.
(Now you're flying) I got so much work in front of me,
(Really flying) it stretches out far as the eye can see.
I can see.

Spend half my life in airports doing crosswords and attempting to sleep,
And when the bar is open then you'll often find me warming a seat.
(Now you're flying) I never find a place where I can stay
(Really flying) I'd rather be a thousand miles away.
Thousand miles away.

Working for yourself sometimes ain't all that it's cracked up to be.
It can be as lonely at the top as at the bottom of that corporate tree
(Now you're flying) I'm told I'm going places - who can say ?
(Really flying) I might arrive but I'll be gone the very next day.
I must be on my way
A thousand miles away.

Promised to myself someday I'd take the time and try to make sense
Out of all those opportunities I've lost from trying to sit on the fence
(Now you're flying) But right now I've got no time for yesterday
(Really flying) Yesterday is a thousand miles away.
A thousand miles away.

(Now you're flying) What was that that you were trying to say?
I guess I was a thousand miles away.
Sing it again.
